CHANGE IN HOW ON-STREET HOMELESS SERVICES ARE PROVIDED IN THE DUBLIN REGION
From October 1st 2014, the Regional Contact and Outreach Service (RCOS) and Housing First Demonstration Project have stopped working with people who are rough sleeping in the Dublin region.
A new Housing First Service, which combines street outreach and Housing First has IMMEDIATELY REPLACED this service. The new service is being provided throughout the Dublin region by Focus Ireland and the Peter Mc Verry Trust.
The Housing First Service provides two teams:
Team 1. Intake Team - If a person is sleeping rough and needs accommodation and support or if they are interested in referring to Housing First

Team 2. Intensive Case Management (ICM) Team – If a person is already a Housing First tenant

The new Housing First Service will be provided throughout the Dublin region to include: Dublin City Council, South Dublin County Council, Fingal County Council and Dún Laoghaire- Rathdown County Council.
